Historical damage and disasters

In developmentInformational preview

Reviewed at · Statuses reflect this review and may change.

1. What this capability does

Assemble documented events and damage into a history retaining dates, territories, crop identities and assessment methods.

2. Why it is needed

Comparable loss histories are needed to validate risk assessments, but administrative reports have differing coverage.

3. Which decisions it can support

Select cases for retrospective validation and identify periods or territories where the available evidence remains insufficient.

4. Which data are available

IGSU reports, MAIA summaries and BNS damaged-crop cells are identified, without a unified case-level historical register.

5. Which data are still needed

Verifiable acts, event identifiers, affected areas, values, methodologies and rules preventing duplicate counting are required.

6. Who can provide the data

IGSU, MAIA, AIPA, local authorities and insurers can provide aggregates or authorized records with documented provenance.

7. Methods and scientific limitations

Harmonization separates affected area, production loss, damage value and compensation while preserving original source definitions.

8. Which outputs it can produce

Planned timelines and case tables will document sources, coverage, revisions and limits to comparability between records.

9. Readiness and conditions of use

The historical register is in development; an unpublished case is not interpreted as evidence that no damage occurred.

Sources and access conditions

Links identify the sources. Source accessibility does not prove integration; official observations, estimates and forecasts must remain distinct. Source titles and metadata are shown as documented.

Emergency/disaster reports and verified event summaries

Coverage
Official national emergency reporting with event/locality and some territorial breakdowns; observation reference in the audited snapshot: 2026-H1.
Availability
ACCESSIBLE_NOT_CONNECTED — source discovery only; not a connection to this public service.
Limitations
Disaster classification, damage valuation and reporting thresholds change coverage. Emergency-response statistics are not exhaustive agricultural yield loss. Latest catalogue dates are not measurement dates; verify the source terms and observation coverage before reuse.

Official 2025 drought/heat damage acts and 2026 compensation summary

Coverage
National submitted damage acts for maize and sunflower; observation reference in the audited snapshot: 2025-10-23.
Availability
ACCESSIBLE_NOT_CONNECTED — source discovery only; not a connection to this public service.
Limitations
Selected compensated crops/eligible applicants differ from total economic loss. Administrative verified acts do not isolate drought from all confounders. Latest catalogue dates are not measurement dates; verify the source terms and observation coverage before reuse.

BNS 2026 compromised exact published workbook cells

Coverage
Country; no regional substitution
Availability
CONNECTED — admitted existing baseline evidence; this does not connect the source to every planned capability.
Limitations
all agricultural enterprises and farms >=10ha all agricultural enterprises and farms >=10ha all agricultural enterprises and farms >=10ha Partial-year, not completed annual yield; no mixing of farm thresholds Latest catalogue dates are not measurement dates; verify the source terms and observation coverage before reuse.
